I completely agree with the concept. My own personal political opinion on education is that students vocational skills should be encouraged over 'academic' or 'for the good of the country' reasons. And, if we become a nation of poets and sculptors, so be it - At least we'd be happy in our work!It's a little idealistic I know but hey the words ‘I have a dream’ just recently came true so...
Anyway back to reality, if you think that ‘all young people should have the opportunity to achieve their potential, and the UK's future workforce should be equipped with the skills to be successful in the modern economy’, watch the video, it pretty much tells you all you need to know.
