I am male so the obvious assets of the video are, shall we say, not lost on me.
That said however, I think from the initially cheeky, 'check out how naughty I am!' grin, on the first girl's face as she starts her strut, to the excellently atristic final shot, this is noteworthy.

But is this creation more than just a music video; is it a snapshot of this decade? And not only of a Parisian street?
The socio-doctrines would have you think that walking about naked is shocking, an offence to public decency but No men were overcome with arousal, No women fainted, No children burst into tears, dogs and cats didn't start living together, the sea's didn't boil, fire and brimstone didn't rain down. NON ran screaming for the police, the reactions range from mild disinterest to delighted to see the display.
At first glance, looking at it as a future archaeologist might, it may appear that in europe at least, in 2009 walking about naked is not an offence to public decency.
Or is it just the presence of the video camera that makes it all okay?
Anyway, As I said the 'Make the girl dance' video is noteworthy but does it's brilliance have it's roots the video for Bob Dylan's 'Subterranean Homesick Blues'?
